why do they put 10- 14 on boys and on girls clothing they put 12- 17 on it?

    I guess it differs with the brand/store, but it’s probably because those are age groups that would want similar styles, so they group them together and make different sizes of those styles.

    They numbers (though not very accurate) stand for ages. LIke size 14 slim pants are for thin 14 year olds but I’m not 14 and I wear them.
