  • I can see you are STILL singing the “moron song”. The color red symbolizes passion and love and warmth. It is not a color that promotes violence or anger. Red is a beautiful color. Butt out of your neighbors’ business and stop asking such ridiculous questions to which you already know the answer to.

It sounds like to me that you have many issues that you need, I mean really need, therapy for.

  • Pink is supposed to promote calmness and happy feelings but when one prison painted their walls pink the inmates were better for a while then started acting ten time worse! Turns out prisoners resented the fact prison officials thought they could influence behavior by forcing a new color on them.
  • I’m in complete agreement with VOLKS. Saying the color red is why kids are violent and angry is giving bad parents an excuse for not teaching their child to control his/her behavior. Each person has the ability to decide how they will act/react. If anyone (even children) uses violence to outwardly express their feelings, the fault lies within themselves, not a color or TV program or song on the radio.
  • hey thats why im in jail jk
  • are you a member of the Fundamendalist Church of Latter Day Saints Polygamists group? You sound nutty. Red is a beautiful color! It brightens up a room. It is the color of a red rose. It is the blood of Jesus Christ. If you want resources like that, I suggest you move to Eldorado Ranch in Texas where that polygamy ranch is located. They hate the color red.

Swapbabygoods.com You can post what you have and trade with other moms and dads. You can also buy or sell. It’s great, everyone is really friendly, and best of all, it’s FREE!!!
  • Baby clothing is cute, but what about comfortable?
well at home I usually let my 6 month old wear sleepers or the rompers because they are soft and he can move around easier but when we have company or we go out I will dress him up in overalls or pants nothing too fancy

I like for my babies to be in the soft and easy outfits. I think the carters cotton gowns are great! I love the organic clothing lines out now too. Especially at night no zipper and no buttons. Here is my favorite clothing companys…….

Also try some boutique stores, some favorite lines are

    BABY LULU
    Sweet Potatoes
    mother maid
    little me
    gymboree
    and gap and old navy

Dress the baby in soft clothing, it is easier on the skin and for the babies to move around in .

Ebay….I do a clean out every 6 months, it’s amazing how much extra cash you can make………I also buy clothes off ebay for my grub……..it saves a lot of $$$ when they grow so fast.
Or some parenting forums have a buy/sell/giveaway section for kids/parenting items on thier sites.good way to get rid of stuff and chat with other parents too.

None – what a ridiculous idea!!
If people are gonna be violent or angry – they will do so whether or not they wore red clothing as a child/youth!!
    What a joke!

That’s crazy!! People promote anger and violence. Not colors.

  7. Volks says on :

Below is a link that shows all the colors and how they can affect mood. Colors can affect mood, but it can’t change a person. It can’t make a healthy, well-adjusted kid start beating people up. A calming color cannot make a psychotic person serene.

Red can make some children more likely to act out, but it doesn’t CAUSE it. Just as blue can make people feel more calm, if a person is a nervous wreck, blue isn’t going to help. Green is neutral. There are all kinds of studies about the way colors affect moods.

That being said, kids who are going to be angry and violent don’t do it because they wore red. They do it because they were taught to act that way or they have no discipline at home.

Sorry, but you can’t use a color as a scapegoat for kids that are brats due to bad parenting.

It would be inappropriate and ridiculous to push this belief unto your neighbors. I would contain this rule to your own family.

Paint yourself red and stand behind their minivan, shouting angrily.
Uh oh, Johnny’s Mommy’s son is wearing red. Watch out – that little guy looks absolutely vicious! =)
